Lazy UCITS is a static information website. It has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no newsletter. This page describes exactly what happens with data when you visit.
Hosting and server logs (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's network. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical data for every request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. Cloudflare may keep this in its logs and uses it to show me aggregate traffic figures (for example the number of requests and visitors' countries). I cannot see or identify individual visitors from these figures. For details, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
The site runs no analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon, no advertising or social-media pixels). All pages, scripts, fonts, images and data are loaded from lazyucits.com itself; your browser makes no requests to third parties while you use the site.
Cookies and browser storage
- No cookies are set by this site. If Cloudflare's security checks are triggered (for example against automated traffic), Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie such as
__cf_bmorcf_clearance. - Local storage for your preferences. The site saves your choices in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload:
lu-prefs(base currency, exchange and fund filters) andlu-compare(the portfolios you picked for the comparison). This data stays on your device and is never sent to the server. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Links to other websites
The site links to fund issuers, exchanges, brokers and other sources. Once you follow a link, that website's own privacy policy applies. Book links on the reading list go to amazon.com and carry an Amazon Associates tag; when you click one, Amazon may set cookies on amazon.com to attribute a qualifying purchase. Lazy UCITS receives no personal data from Amazon, only aggregate commission reports.
If you write to [email protected], I receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. I use it only to read and answer your message, and I do not share it or add you to any mailing list. Messages to this address are forwarded to a personal Gmail inbox, so Google processes them as an email provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the Swiss FADP), you may have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. In practice the only personal data I can hold is email correspondence. Write to [email protected].
